A pair of large French Louis XVI style brass wall lights in the shape of 'Torchères' (flame torches), decorated with Neoclassical motifs. Please note the exceptional height of the candle sleeves and the fine quality of the chased and gilt metalwork. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with age. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards. Please note, our workshop can adjust the size of the 'candle', to suit the buyer requirements.

Dimensions: Width 9 cm, depth 18 cm, overall height including a lightbulb 66 cm.
