A pair of French Empire period carved ebony and ebonised boxwood Caryatid candlesticks in the Neoclassic style, standing on shaped and moulded plinths, fitted with gilt brass candle holders. Area of Paris, circa 1810.

Condition report: In good and unrestored condition, showing wear of the ebonised finish and a bronze-like patination.
