A pair of 19th century French Louis XVI style, finely cast, chased and gilt bronze and turned marble 'Cassolette' urns, later made into table lamps and fitted with silk lampshades. Area of Paris, circa 1870. 

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Fully re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with a cord-switch. The shades showing signs of age on the fabric covering. Please enquire if you'd like new lampshades made for this pair of lamps.
Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holders 36 cm, overall height with shades 52 cm.
