A French Art Deco Standard Light

A French Art Deco period painted wrought iron and crystal 'Maison Bagues' design Standard light, the top of the light fitted with thirteen lights, six external with candle-sleeves, seven internal and fitted inside 'cups'. The wrought iron light is interspersed with crystal drops that are arranged into flower shapes - a central 'rosette' crystal surrounded by 'petal' crystals, typical of Maison Bagues work. Please note that the seven internal lights in the 'cups' shine through slots which have threaded crystal beads. Standing on a well-wrought and tall wrought iron scrollwork stand decorated with Art Deco geometric and scrollwork motifs. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
