A tall, 18th century, Louis XVI period carved and gilt Candelabrum, decorated with Neoclassical patterns including gadrooning, string-of-pearl and foliate motifs. Being a church candelabrum, the gilt finish is only on the front. The rear is simply painted with a traditional, raw Siena colour. This Candelabrum was later electrified, and retains its parchment and velvet lampshade, which is in slightly worn but usable condition. The candelabrum is from the area of Paris, circa 1780.
