A 19th French Gothic style Candelabrum Standard light, the well-wrought iron tripod base with a twist-turned shaft, the top fitted with four 'torchere' lights and a central, shaped 'epi' spike. Fitted with period parchment lampshades. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Re-wired to Australian safety standards with black silk electrical cable and foot switch.
