An early 20th century French Louis XVI style white marble and gilt brass table lamp in the shape of a Neoclassical 'Composite' column on a square plinth, freshly electrified and fitted with a new lampshade. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in very good condition. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with a cord-switch.
