A mid century French Empire style, gilt brass and black-japanned, Maison Bagues design table lamp, the Classic urn body fitted with two ring handles standing on a black marble plinth. Fitted with a purpose-made black fabric lampshade. Area of Paris, circa 1960.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition, freshly rewired to Australian safety standards using a black silk electrical cord. Fitted with a new lampshade.
Dimensions: Height to lightbulb holder 30 cm, overall height 45 cm, diameter shade 31 cm.
