A 19th century Florentine oil lamp of four lights, retaining its original tools (a pair of wick-scissors a snuff, a pick to clean the burner-spouts, and the pincers for adjusting the wick). The central oil bowl that holds the lights is adjustable in height. Fitted with a well-worn, half-round pleated silk shade.Area of Florence, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition, fully rewired to Australian safety standards using a gold silk electrical cord with a cord-switch. In good and original condition, used condition.
