A French Provincial Drop-Leaf Table

An early 19th century French Louis Philippe period, solid walnut, oval-top drop-leaf table standing on Neoclassical style turned legs, retaining their original brass caster wheels. Please note the wonderful woodgrain and the well-burnished and nicely faded walnut tonalities. This table has good leg-room under it, and can easily be reduced to a smaller size, when required. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1830.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing surface wear and some timber shrinkage gaps, in keeping with its age and use. Requiring small repairs, cleaning, waxing an buffing.
