A French Regence style solid oak Refectory table comfortably seating eight to ten, the top with an exceptional thickness of 7 cm, standing on two X-shaped uprights joined by a central stretcher which is secured with timber pegs at each end. The whole table can be disassembled for ease of transport and storage. This table has a unique character, the timbers having being salvaged from much older, architectural elements. Please note the excellent keg-room under the top. Area of Normandy, circa 1900.
