A pair of French Louis XVI style 'Flambeaux' silvered brass candlesticks, the faceted balusters with  elegantly curved twin scrolling arms, standing on octagonal plinths decorated with etched geometrical motifs. Please note the silversmithing quality of the metalwork, now nicely worn, and the influence of the Art Deco period. Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original condition, rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords with cord-switches.
