A vintage 1960s French water/wine/cider 'Pichet' jug typical of the blown-glass work of the 'Verrerie de Biot', with a myriad of trapped air bubbles inside the translucent glass. Please the the internal pocket that allows ice to cool the liquid, without diluting it. The underside signed "Verreries de Biot". Area of Southern France, circa 1960.
