A Parisian 'Gueridon' Table

A 19th century French Louis XVI style mahogany and gilt brass-mounted 'Gueridon' table, the kidney-shaped top and the hanging-shelf are both fitted with raised and fretted brass edging. Please note the restrained, Parisian elegance of this table. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
