A 19th century French napoleon III period carved pure-white Carrara marble statuette, after the famous 'Seated Cupid' that Etienne-Maurice Falconet (1716-1791) made in 1757 for Madame de Pompadour, the marble surfaces showing the effects of many decades of being displayed outdoors.
