A Louis XVI Console Table

A French Louis XVI style demi-lune shaped mahogany console table, a shallow drawer fitted into the front rail and with two curved panels opening in the curved sides, a shaped shelf hangs suspended between the turned and fluted legs. The top is fitted with its original Gris Saint 'Anne marble and is edged with a raised and fretted gilt brass gallery. Please note: the shallow proportions of this console table make it an ideal hallway table. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
