A French Louis XVI style mahogany "Gueridon Jardinière", a side table designed to hold live plants in pots, or directly in soil. The plants can be watered while growing on the top of this table. The table top is fitted with a lift-out zinc trough which is fitted with carrying handles. Please note: this table can be used as a multi-bottle wine and Champagne cooler. Area of Paris, circa 1950.
