A set of twelve vintage French oyster plates, the glazed 'Barbotine' Majolica decorated in delicate colours and with bas-relief shapes of oysters, the centre of each plate with a hollow for placing a slice of lemon in. The undersides are hallmarked with the stamp of the 'Moulin des Loups, Orchies' potteries. Area of Orchies, Northern France, circa 1960.
