A pair of large and comfortable 19th century French Napoleon III period, Regence style carved beechwood armchairs decorated with elegantly sweeping arms, standing on finely carved 'Os de Mouton’ legs with shaped 'H' stretcher bases. Please note the beautiful sweep of the armrests and quality of the haut-relief carved decorations. These make excellent library armchairs. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
