A rare and important pair of late 17th century, French Louis XIV period, solid walnut high-back fauteuil armchairs, the legs and the 'H' stretchers baluster-turned, the arm-rests comfortably wide and fully-upholstered. Note the elegant lean of the back-rests. Area of Paris, circa 1680. Price is for the pair.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
