An extending French Dining Table

An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved solid oak and oak parquetry extending dining table, the panelled top above finely carved Cabriole legs and shaped rails. Each of the shaped rails is decorated with bas-relief mouldings and a central foliate and shell motif. This table will comfortably seat six people when closed, and on opening both extensions will comfortably seat ten. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
