A large Victorian Desk

A large, 19th century English pedestal desk, the façade fitted with nine graduated drawers, the rear with three drawers above two cupboards. The solid mahogany timbers are nicely faded over time and the drawers and cupboard doors retain the original 'Hobbs and Co' lever locks, the original brass drawer-pulls and the key escutcheon inserts. Please note the ample leg room under this desk. The top is fitted with a later leather insert. Area of London, circa 1880.
