A French Louis XV Desk

An elegant and large French Louis XV style, solid oak 'Bureau Plat' desk of good quality, the moulded top fitted with its original, embossed and gilt-edge leather. The carved front is fitted with five drawers retaining their original oval ring pull-handles, standing on Classic Cabriole legs. This desk is well-presented on all four sides and can stand in the middle of a room. There is plenty of leg-room under the top. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
