A French Art Nouveau period glazed majolica ‘cache-pot’ jardiniere planter of Classical shape, wonderfully decorated with striations of hand painted colour bands. The underside is stamped by the manufacturer of Fives Lille. Area of Northern France, circa 1890.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age and use.
