A fine French Louis XVI style gilt brass and cut crystal ‘cage’ chandelier of six lights, decorated with waterwheel-cut and shaped crystal drops, with cut crystal 'pencil' drops and with delicate crystal bead chains, the scrolled arms fitted to an elegant baluster-turned central baluster Each of the lights retaining its original cut crystal drip tray. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Re-wired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 65 cm, height 75 cm, height including chain and ceiling cup 140 cm. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling for this light and our workshop can do this sympathetically.
