An early 20th century French Louis XVI style, mahogany demi-lune commode, of excellent Neoclassical proportions and of shallow depth. The façade is fitted with three drawers, the flanks curved and panelled. Retaining the original shaped and moulded Carrara marble top framed by a raised and fretted gilt brass gallery. Retaining the original brass drawer pulls. Please note: this commode can make an excellent entrance hall /console table. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
