An early 20th century French Louis XVI style, mahogany and gilt brass mounted demi-lune commode of good Neoclassical proportions and of shallow depth. Fitted with three drawers, the flanks curved and panelled. Retaining the original shaped and moulded Carrara marble top framed by a raised and fretted gilt brass gallery. Retaining the original brass drawer pulls. Please note: this commode can make an excellent entrance hall /console table. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
