An early 19th century French Louis Philippe period walnut commode of excellent Classical proportions. Typically of this period, the design of this commode was kept simple, un-adorned and architectural in form. Each of the three drawers retaining their original gilt brass handles and escutcheons. Area of Paris, circa 1830.
