A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, solid mahogany, plum mahogany and gilt brass mounted commode of three drawers, of masculine and Neoclassical elegance. Retaining its original, shaped and moulded 'Gris St. Anne' marble top and a nicely-faded and luminous mahogany patination, beautifully offset by the original gilt brass mouldings, handles and escutcheons. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
