A fine, long and shallow, early 18th century French Regence period carved solid oak Provincial Buffet of excellent proportions, the façade with three formally panelled doors and three drawers decorated with haut-relief carved mouldings. Retaining a wonderfully luminous, original patination, and all the original turned brass hinges and handles and fretted escutcheons. Please note the elegant overhangs at each end of the top. Area of Nantes, circa 1730.
