An th century French Provincial solid walnut armoire-bookcase fitted with a curved 'Chapeau de Gendarme' pediment, the doors fitted with glass panes and internally fitted with sturdy adjustable-height shelves. The design and haut relief carved decorations are a typical design of the area of Normandy called 'Pays de Caux'. Area of Normandy, circa 1780.
Condition report: Complete and in fully restored condition, retaining an excellent and original, bronze-like walnut patina.
