A vintage Italian bar-cabinet in the shape of a floor-standing and rotating Atlas globe, decorated with applied prints of old maps, Latin inscriptions, ships, compass points and figures of people in traditional dress. The globe opens up to reveal a rotating internal shelf with compartments for bottles and glasses, including the original ice bucket with its lid. Please note the wonderful decorations on the underside of the dome top. Area of Milan, circa 1960.
