A 19th century French Louis XVI style, inlaid brass and nicely faded mahogany bookcase, internally lined with moiré silk and fitted with three glass shelves. Retaining the original luminous patination, the original lock and key and all the original glazing. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1880.
