A large pair of French Louis XV Armchairs

An exceptionally large pair of French Louis XV style walnut Bergere tall-back armchairs, the elegantly shaped back-rests decorated with haut-relief carved flower-motifs. Designed for comfort, with deep and ample upholstered seats and with separate, plush seat cushions. Standing on elegant, carved and shaped Cabriole legs. The flanks are fitted with newly-restored double-panelled hand-woven rattan. The armchairs are freshly -upholstered in black calico, which can be left on the armchairs, under a covering fabric of choice.
