A single-size French Louis XVI style finely carved and painted bed of Parisian quality, the bed head and footer with "chapeau de gendarme" curved top rails and with elegant "Pine Cone" finials, both header and footer fitted with finely woven cane painted the same off-white of the bed and with a faint criss-cross pattern in pale blue. This bed will take a standard-size single mattress. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
