An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved, painted and parcel gilt bed comprising the sleigh shaped bed head and footer, and two original side rails. This French bed's width allows easily for a standard Australian double-bed size mattress. In order to fit a Queen size bed the side rails may need to be sympathetically lengthened.
