A French Louis XV Bed

An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved, painted and parcel gilt Queen size bed, the header and footer with an 'en bateau' sleigh design. This bed will take a standard 150 cm Queen size mattress in width. The rails may need to be extended if they do not fit a standard 204 cm mattress length. this can be done by our workshop. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. This bed has been reupholstered in a different fabric, new photos to come.

Dimensions: Width 148 cm, height of header 115 cm, footer 80 cm, length of side rails 192 cm.
