A Louis XV ‘Corbeille’ Double Bed

An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved and painted and gilt double size bed, comprising a bed head, a ‘Corbeille’ footer and original, carved side rails. The internal measurement allows for a double-bed size mattress, the side rails may need to be sympathetically lengthened to accommodate a standard Australian double-bed mattress length. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.

Dimensions: Overall width 150 cm, internal width 142 cm. Height of header 125 cm.
