An exceptional King Size Bed

A late 19th century French Louis XVI style, finely carved King-Size bed, decorated with Neoclassical swag, foliate and shell motifs. The bed is composed of two bedheads and two footers that were designed to interlock together to form a full-width King. Note the harmonious design and the quality of the carved decorations. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. Miguel has had two of the hand-woven rattan panels re-woven in France.
