A French Art Deco ‘Corbeille’ Bed

A large, early 20th century French Art Deco period finely carved and painted Double Size bed, comprising a curved-top bed head, a ‘Corbeille’ footer, and matching side rails. Note the excellent quality of the carved corbels and of the mouldings. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition.

Dimensions: Overall width 160 cm, internal width in Corbeille end 147 cm, height of header 140 cm.
