A pair of French Empire style "lazy" armchairs, the 'X' shaped solid carved mahogany legs with reclined backrests and wonderful, scrolled arms. Please note the finely carved foliate and paterae decorations of these chairs. Retaining an old studded leather upholstery. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition.
Dimensions: Width 63 cm, depth 90 cm, height of backrest 93 cm.
