A large Louis XV Bergere Wing Armchair

A 19th century French Louis XV style 'Bergere a Oreilles' wingback armchair of large and well-proportioned dimensions. This finely carved beechwood armchair is upholstered with a separate down-feather seat cushion and the broad width and good depth ensure that it is very comfortable to sit on. Please note the wonderful design in the lean of the backrest. Area of Paris, circa 1880. 

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. The old brocade fabric is well-worn and has now been professionally cleaned. There remain small, pale stains (as seen on photos).
Dimensions: Width 70 cm, height of back rest 103 cm.
