A 19th century French Louis XVI style, carved and painted 'Fauteuil' armchair, fitted with an upholstered seat, backrest and armrests. Please note the elegance of the 'knotted-bow' pediment of the backrest and the patination of the painted finish. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. Requiring some paint finish touch-ups, reupholstery.
