A 19th century French Louis XV style 'wingback' Bergere armchair, the large and well-proportioned solid walnut frame decorated with finely carved flower trellises and with haut-relief carved mouldings. With a good width and depth, this armchair is very comfortable to sit in. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
