An early 20th century French provincial, solid oak, tall ladderback armchair, the ample seat fitted with woven rush, decorated in the typical provincial Louis XV style from the area of Southern France, with whimsical haut-relief carved floral and foliate motifs. Area of Provence, circa 1930.
