A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style carved solid walnut 'Fauteuil à la Reine' armchairs with upholstered seats, back-rests and arm-rests. Please note the broadness of the proportions, which makes these armchairs comfortable drawing room seating. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition. Covered in black calico.
Dimensions: Width 70 cm, depth 53 cm, height of seats 41 cm, height of backrests 96 cm.
