A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III period, Directoire style, carved and turned, two-tone painted Fauteuil armchairs of understated and Classical proportions. Please note the  very fine carvings and workmanship. The armchairs retain their original painted finish which is nicely worn. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. The fabric can be re-used after a steam clean.
