A 19th century French Louis XV style carved and gilded "Bergère en Gondole" tub armchair, the seat height suitable for use as a desk armchair. Note the curved back rest and the chair seat fitted with finely woven rattan. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear in keeping with its age. The gilt finish is worn on some edges and needs cleaning and touch-ups.
Dimensions: Width 60 cm, height of back rest 85 cm.
