A pair of French Louis XV style carved beechwood "Bergère en Gondole" tub armchairs, the seat heights suitable for use as a desk armchair. Note the elegantly curved back rest and the chair seats and wrap-around backs fitted with finely woven rattan. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing slight wear in keeping with age.
