A French Bureau Armchair

A rare 19th century French Napoleon III period, Regence style bureau armchair of wonderful design and proportions, the carved beechwood structure with an excellent patination, decorated with haut-relief carved mouldings and floral motifs. Fitted with finely-woven cane on the back-rest and seat. The arm-rests fitted with natural tan leather, the seat fitted with a protective squab cushion of identical leather.
